To continue to combat hunger we need the support of our community.

2. Using Paypal Link on our home page
3. Mail a check to OAFP, PO Box 92, Oregon, WI 53575
For some families the only consistent meals their children receive are when they are in school. In 2022 OAFP took over the Food 4 Breaks program from Friends of Oregon School District. This program provides food gift cards to grocery stores to help support families during short school breaks when they might struggle to provide the meals children would normally get at school. Last year, OAFP provided more than $17,000 in food gift cards to families to ensure their children did not go without meals.
A significant number of families who apply for Free & Reduced lunch are denied assistance because their income is marginally above the very low threshold. These families still struggle to pay for their children's meals at school. A community member, after hearing of this from one of our Board members, decided to make a generous monetary donation to start a fund, through the pantry, to help these families. In the 4th quarter of the 2022 - 23 school year, OAFP spent $7000 to pay the lunch balances of more than 45 students.
